Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for an Electrical / Powertrain PDM Lead to join our team. This is a hybrid role split between our site in Reading (1 day per week), and remote working. You will join a team that authors and protects the data that the various parts of the business use to communicate.
The team sits in the middle of the business delivering to every team, which makes it a fantastic place to see how all teams and people operate. You will get to meet and work with lots of people and resolve some very complex requirements.
We would like you to:
- Drive compliance and right-first-time within the group
- Ensure queries are answered within SLAs
- Take and resolve any queries on data originating in department
- Represent PDM within departmental meetings
- Act as first point of contact
- Checking any complex tickets are raised correctly and completely
- Ensure new Engineers are set up to succeed with the PLM element of their role
We would like you to have:
- An eye for detail, it’s important to be diligent with recording what has been done and why
- The ability to manage large data sets, particularly in Excel – pivots, complex formulas etc
- A background working in a Project capacity, experience as an Analyst would be beneficial
- Experience working within an Agile environment
- Automotive, Logistics or Manufacturing experience would be a welcome bonus
