Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for a Tax Manager You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing group tax strategy (while maintaining consistency with global tax principles, policies and strategies) and for optimising the tax reporting processes This is a unique opportunity to start with a blank sheet of paper and design programmes that truly maximise our special culture of sustainability and innovation.
What you will do:
- Provide guidance and expertise to the wider business across all relevant areas of tax (Eg. Corporation Tax, Employment Taxes, VAT, Customs, Transfer Pricing and R+D tax credits). processes and introduction of changes to tax controls and processes where necessary;
- Review and manage tax filings and ensure compliance with all statutory deadlines related to taxes.
- Manage relationships with external advisors to assist with different aspects of global tax compliance and fillings.
We would like you to have:
- CTA Qualification.
- Experience within industry, including experience of international and cross border tax issues, liaising with Tax Authorities, and implementation of tax frameworks
- Previous experience project managing a range of tax areas.
