What you will do:
The Launch Team will collectively support the pre-production build series at the relevant manufacturing site to deliver the quality and delivery objectives of each programme, complementing the existing contract manufacturer processes and systems. This will require work with our Volta UK functions and our contract manufacturers and will require extended periods of travel according to the programme phase.
The team will:
- Manage the consequences of issues affecting the quality and delivery of the build.
- Conduct analysis of concerns, determine the causal factors and the containment required to allow the build to proceed. Communicate with the core UK team for support as required.
- ·Document the rework requirements and manage the robust implementation of that and any associated deviations or concessions.
- Use the Concern Management (CM) system to fully document the issues, deviations, any progress and to ensure a robust link to the resolution of issues by the core teams.
Each team member will bring a specific set of skills to support commodity areas.
For the role of High Voltage System Engineer, you will need:
- Experience of diagnosis, root cause analysis and support for HV component and system issues.
- Experience using Vector tools to interrogate component and system behaviour.
- Demonstrable experience working with BEV HV systems including experience of decommissioning/commissioning HV systems and taking measurements following safe procedures.
- To be a High Voltage authorised person, ideally qualified to IMI L3 or equivalent.
Each team member will need:
- The ability to communicate in English and ideally in German
- An ability to analyse Requirements, Models in Catia V6, Drawings in support of problem solving.
- A flexible hands-on approach with the ability to react and communicate according to the severity of the effect on the build.
- A strong analytical mindset, excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with great organizational skills to influence great results.
