Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for a Logistics Developer to join our fast-growing Logistics and supply chain function. The role offers flexible working, and your time will be split between our new offices in Reading (1-2 days per week) and working remote.
What you will do:
Reporting to the Logistics Developer Manager you will be responsible for taking the lead on key logistics projects relating to the overall launch and growth program. You will be involved across a broad range of projects including the revision of existing logistics networks, identifying network restructuring opportunities and implementing new flows and operations.
- Project manage the existing logistics transformation
- Work on programme adaptions for future Volta products
- Tasked with leading key projects within logistics
- Represent the Logistics department in the product development phases and new projects
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices
- Creating report outs to internal stakeholders such as finance, procurement and project engineering team
We would like you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or similar, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business or similar
- Previous experience in logistics development roles and supply chain management
- Sound knowledge and experience within program/project management relating to logistics
- Previous experience within automotive manufacturing is preferred/desirable
